Developed through a meticulous process pioneered by Chinese pearl farmer Zhan Weijian,these pearls are cultivated using a specialized grafting technique.

Characteristics of Edison Pearls: What makes Edison Pearls different is their remarkable luster and color. These pearls show a  radiant glow that is unmatched by conventional pearls, thanks to their thick layers of nacre-the organic substance that gives pearl their sheen. And also the size of edison pearls is much bigger than the traditional freshwater pearls, size can be 9mm at least to about 16mm even bigger.

The Cultivation Process: The experienced pearl farmer insert a piece of shell bead into the oyster. Over 2-3years, the oyster coat the bead with layers of nacre, forming the luminous edison pearl we see today.
